The award is in recognition of the SCL Elements CAN2GO line of wired and wireless controllers. These controllers support ZigBee wireless mesh communication and serial link, and can manage wired and wireless (EnOcean, Zigbee) end-devices at the same time. They automatically convert all end-devices into BACnet objects and host a complete building automation web interface.
Using this powerful modular framework CAN2GO products are able to combine multiple communication protocols and standards enabling system integrators to deliver cost effective solutions.

CAN2GO products for building automation provide control for wired end-devices, as well as wireless end-devices based on ZigBee and EnOcean standards. They support wireless networking through ZigBee mesh, IP networking, as well as chain-link connections through CANbus. They offer bidirectional gateway integration from EnOcean to BACnet and ZigBee to BACnet. CAN2GO products also have embedded servers that host a complete BACnet IP web-based interface.
SCL have published a case study on how their devices using Telegesis ETRX357 ZigBee modules were successfully deployed in a cardboard box factory significantly reducing the energy bill and installation time.
