Telegesis recently exhibited at the METERINGChina 2009 Conference & Exhibition held at the Beijing International convention centre.
The exhibition has held from May 26 to 28th 2009 and Telegesis managing director Nicholas Gomersall and Technical Manager Marius Munder represented Telegesis on our show stand.
Despite the global financial crisis, China's overall economic conditions remains stable and the Chinese electricity metering market has been growing faster than any other with an annual delivery of 100 million electricity meters, worth US$ 2.5 billion.
China is now making its move to be part of the smart metering revolution and it was for this reason that Telegesis exhibited its range of Smart Energy compliant ZigBee modules which are aimed squarely at AMR/AMI applications.
China has become the biggest manufacturer and user of utility meters and components and the deployment of AMR/AMI systems nationwide will continue to drive market growth.
The Telegesis stand was busy for the whole three days and we were visited by over 150 guests keen to see our ZigBee smart energy solutions in action. The exhibition was an unqualified success and we will be working closer with Chinese customers in the future.
