New Telegesis USB stick improves your memory!

Telegesis has today announced the release of the ETRX3USB+8M as the latest addition to its growing ZigBee module range. The ETRX3USB+8M is a variant of Telegesis' best-selling Ember EM357 based ZigBee USB device but now with added flash memory. The extra 8 Megabits of flash memory provides additional application data storage in addition to that already available on the Ember EM357 at the core of the USB stick. Importantly, the extra memory will also now make it possible to perform Over The Air(OTA) upgrades of both the ZigBee as well as host application firmware. For example on ZigBee Smart Energy devices which use firmware with OTA capability.

Full data sheets and pricing for the new product will be released within the next two weeks and the ETRX3USB+8M is expected to be on sale within a month. The new USB module will also be available in power amplified form with an output power of +20dbm – the ETRX3USB-LR+8M
