Important ETRX Firmware Revision Notice

All ETRX2 and ETRX35x modules will be supplied with R3xx firmware based on EmberZNet PRO stack. However, if you require an older version of the firmware, please state when ordering.

If you wish to use the latest firmware Revision please check your Modules current firmware revision using the "ATI" Command.

Firmware Upgrades are available free of charge by e-mailing your request to:- zigbeesupport@telegesis.com Simple instructions for upgrading the firmware are available in the Development Kit Manual, which is downloadable from this website.

When installed with appropriate adaptor in the PCMCIA slot of a laptop, the standard Telegesis Terminal software will perform in exactly the same way as with the ETRX2DV Development Board once the following driver has been installed.

Telegesis Terminal PPC for PDA - download the newly enhanced Telegesis Terminal PPC demonstration software. There are two methods of installation. one using ActiveSync on a PC and the other is to load a CAB file into the PDA and then install from there. Software and drivers are the same so choice depends on your preferred method of installation.

Drivers for PDA only - if you are developing your own Windows CE / Pocket PC (including CE.NET and Windows Mobile) software applications for a PDA and only require drivers.

Method One - Self-extracting installation file run from Windows PC which transfers the appropriate drivers to the PDA using ActiveSync.

Method Two - This is a zip file containing CAB files. Use the appropriate CAB file for your type of PDA and copy directly to the PDA using memory card, infra-red etc. Then on the PDA, select the CAB file and the driver will auto install
